393 - 17 Time Grand National Champion - Mark Prudhomme

Today's guest needs no introduction in the world of Turkey hunting and call making. Here from my home state is Mark Prudhomme. Mark has been hunting all of his life, has a professional wildlife and land manager for more than 45 years. He says he has hunted turkeys for 40 years and counting. He has won 17 Grand National Championships including, turkey calling, Owl hooting and Gobbling. 5 Grand National Campion of Champions, 8 World championships including 2 world gobbling championships, 4 world owl hooting and 2 NRA game calling which includes 7 different species. 2 US open owl hooting championships, 2 Grand American Turkey Calling Championships, many state championships in SC and NC. Including the only person to win the state in every game call category. Duck, 2 man Duck, goose, Turkey, and Owl. Mark also qualified for and competed in the World Championship of Duck calling and has won the Rocky Mtn. Elk Foundation elk calling contests. Mark Prudhomme was inducted into the NWTF Hall of fame. He loves hunting and shooting with side by side shotguns and also enjoys traditional bow hunting. Mark also has a reputation for making trumpet calls and tube calls for turkeys. Mark says he was saved at an early age and was raised in church and is a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown, SC where he served as a Deacon.
