3D Crew "MC Killers" (Example Tape for Burning Hot TNT 1985)

This recording is my example demo for “MC Killers”, and there are a few things that stand out about it. It captures how much I was about PRACTICE, and preparing for the live show, because at some point, the record skips, but that was something I trained to prepare for, so I just adjusted and kept it moving. Also, after a quick intro, we do a harmonizing intro, which was directly inspired by Treacherous Three “Gotta Rock”, which TNT and I first heard while record shopping at Middle Earth Records in Junction City a few months previously… For this song, I wrote every part except the extended solo for Burning Hot TNT (aka Motee), but he did write a verse for it after hearing this tape, which is the image used for this demos cover art.
