每年的10月份是「粉紅十月國際乳癌防治關懷月」，希望能藉此喚醒女性朋友對乳癌的重視。根據國健署109年癌症登記資料及衛福部111年的死因統計，乳癌是台灣女性癌症發生率第1位及死亡率第3位，每位女性終其一生有1／10的機率可能罹患乳癌， 尤其45歲至69歲為乳癌發生的高峰期，但現在乳癌發生年齡則有上升的趨勢，但年輕女性也別忽視。
