#4 - Amber Rowan: Alopecia, Wigs and a romantic Italian wedding

This week on Hair With Clare, I’m joined by the fabulous Amber Jean Rowan. Amber, an actress, model, and artist, shared her journey with Alopecia and her wig line Amber Jean wigs. She just opened her store in London earlier this year . She discussed her experience with hair loss, which started when she was 15 years old, and how it affected her self-esteem and sense of self. Amber emphasised the importance of community and how her online community, Hairfree, is providing support to others going through similar experiences.  She also detailed her customization process for wig pieces, which are all made to order and can take 4 to 6 weeks to be produced.
