4. DDD In the Beginning...

from Dungeons & Dragons & Daughters · host Block Party Podcast Network

Our adventurers lead the townsfolk into some ancient ruins on the outside of town for shelter from the dragon. The dragon destroys the Frowning Jester tavern with its acid breath. In exploring the ruins the group finds some magical items and an even more ancient complex deep underground. Jed, the dragon born, helps them and admits that his people sent him to help Meme, Gallexsy, and Dave as they are prophesied to save the world, or destroy it if Jed doesn't help. After a fight with a vampire and a valiant gesture from Jed, the group finds themselves surrounded by a room filled with armed soldiers.

I “went rogue” to raise my kids. I also watched many rogue dads, moms, sons, and daughters go “off script” to become and create strong adults. Most of these stories don’t end with a college degree, an MBA, student loans, or a corner office in a Fortune 500 company. These are stories of the uncommon heroes - the ragtag kids who went on to: own a farm, a clothing line, a custom cabinetry business, be a successful artist, be a Worldwide Jiu Jitsu champion, skateboard in the Olympics, and joyfully become great fathers and mothers. If making strong men and women from little boys and girls is your #1 priority, if you don’t care about the funny looks you receive for your uncommon choices, if you lifted yourself up from a difficult childhood, welcome! Thank you for listening, subscribing, and giving this podcast a 5-star rating! GO ROGUE!
