4. Othniel: The Lion of God - Judges 3:5-11

The legacy of Othniel — the first Judge in the book of Judges — is often overlooked. He was God’s mighty lion who waged war against Cushan-rishathaim and delivered his people from their oppression. In this sermon on Judges 3:5-11, we see that Othniel points to someone beyond himself – God. He is but the type of the greater Divine Judge whom God would raise up to deliver his people and save them from their sin. This sermon was preached by Rev.
