4. You Have a Leverage. Use It!

from POK EXPERIENCE · host Olawumi Kolawole

Levers are used to amplify or magnify the force applied, they are used to multiply the effort you are exact on a particular load. This scientific definition came from the definition of a simple machine. For example, a wheelbarrow has a lever that allows you to transfer force from your hand to the wheelbarrow and the lever also helps multiply this effort and this is what makes pushing the wheelbarrow easy. This is the same for us humans, we all have a lever, something that multiplies our effort, something that amplifies our chance, and this is called leverage. Many people always say they don’t have a leverage, they cry that they don’t have money and no network, hence they are doomed. This is wrong, for every phase of life, there is always s lever you can use to your advantage. Maybe you want to start graphics design, but you don’t have a laptop but there’s an ASUU strike and your brother is home from school and not using his laptop, that is a leverage right there but you will rather cry than you do not have a gadget rather than use that. I know a boy that used to stay in his village, there’s always electricity in his village, instead of coming to the city, he started tech in his village, he leverage the calm environment and constant electricity he’s grown now that he now works remotely for brands abroad. So, we all have leverages, we have something around us we can use as a leverage, there is someone in our lives that can multiply our effort, but we are focused on complaining rather than taking advantage of the levers that are lying around. #jordanpeterson Get Your Life Together MessTo Success
