In today’s episode we discuss how staying properly hydrated can help us manage over consumption of food. Thirst can often be mistaken for hunger and recognizing when we are thirsty can have a major impact on our caloric intake. Omega 3s can help with brain function in adolescents. Long term studies show that when adolescents consume a therapeutic dose of omega 3s their focus and processing speed are increased.Vitamin D is recommended by Health Canada as a supplement all Canadians should be taking. More and more studies are being released every week about how maintaining proper vitamin D levels has lasting impacts on health. Until now most research has been focused on vitamin D and mood.
