There's so many things that get in the way of knowing and receiving that which we truly desire – whether it's people pleasing, believing having desires is bad, or just being afraid that we really can't have what we want, avoiding our desire altogether. But we need desire. Desire is not an add-on or a bonus; it's an integral part to living a fulfilling, meaningful life. I'd go so far to say desire is the compass pointing us in the direction of our spirit's purpose. It helps us know if we're on the right track.
