For our second to last Spirituality and Politics on Radio Kingston, Marielena and I are joined by returning guest, Eliza Swann - writer, educator, artist and alchemist, to continue our conversation into The Emerald Tablet.Last month on the show, we focused on the first paragraph of the Tablet. Today, we revisit it with Eliza, who shares their depth of knowledge and experience in working with the text. Eliza then carries us into the second paragraph with a strong analogy that helps to make sense of this somewhat esoteric text, the bridge between the ineffable and the mundane."True, without falsehood, certain and most true, that which is above is as that which is below, and that which is below is as that which is above, for the performance of the miracles of the One Thing. And as all things are from One, by the mediation of One, so all things have their birth from this One Thing by adaptation.
