We often project views about the nature of God as our Heavenly Father based on our experience with our earthly father. While that's something to guard against in general, it's particularly important not to conflate the two when our earthly father exhibited characteristics clearly not representative of the true nature of God. But how can we know what's true? That's the journey our guest in this episode, Heather Johnston, has been on since her dad's car accident when she was just four years old left him a shell of his former self. The truths she has come to learn about her Heavenly Father, and the way He has graciously cared for and provided for her into her adult years, should be encouraging to us all.
