#410 Nevada Governor’s State of the State speech lacked vision

Nevada Governor Lombardo gave his state of the state speech last night in Nevada, where he outlined his objectives for the next legislative session, which begins here in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what he was actually proposing. There were very few specifics about anything. There was talk of things like “school choice”, but no details on legislation to give parents the ability to take their tax dollars and direct them toward private education for their children or anything that’s really concrete. The governor is trying to run for re-election obviously and he has a Democrat legislature to deal with. I do understand that, but he still needs to show leadership and propose conservative solutions to State of Nevada instead of trying to straddle the fence. My podcast is now on Spotify!
