Why do some “men” marry the kind of women Dr. Laura has described as “hit women”? These wives put a wedge between the son and his family, even when it’s not warranted. We see it in famous families, and not-so-famous families. It’s one thing to prioritize your wife, which you should, but when she is the source of the conflict, and he chose to marry her anyway, it’s often because the “man” has not made a healthy separation from his family, so he considers kowtowing to her and “no contact” as the only solution.
