43 - Reframe Your Generational Healing When You Feel Defeated

from Future You is Calling... · host Charissa Oriana

*This episode is from the original title "Habits, Me, & Everything In Between" of this show. Its content is 100% related to "Future You is Calling" and serves as even more resources for YOU and your success.* Hi, welcome to the show! This one is a little heavier than usual, but that's just part of the process. If you're anything like me, you have some generational wounds/behaviors/thoughts/patterns you'd like to heal from, and you feel utterly defeated when trying to do it That's ok! Listen in on today's episode to help reframe your thoughts and outlook on not only how hard it is to heal, but most importantly, how LONG it takes. Unlearning, healing, learning something new, and implementing it doesn't have to be a mind-block. Growing up in a household filled with yelling, fighting, and even physical abuse, I learned patterns of behavior that didn't align with the parent I aspire to be. But I refuse to let my past define my future. I'm committed to healing generational wounds and learning how to be different. It's not an easy path, and it's filled with upsetting feelings and challenges, but just like any new habit or behavior change, it takes time. Rushing the process only leads to feelings of inadequacy and negativity. Use the quote in the episode to help you whenever you need it! Don't forget to rate, review, subscribe, & share!
