439. You can dress UP for the club & concert but not dress NORMAL for class?

I get that there are differing opinions on the #tuskegee dress code decision but the main notion of Black bodies being policed with this decision and respectability politics just doesn't apply in this case. If people can spend 5 hours getting ready and going to and back from concerts, they can put on regular close to go to a 75 minute class. I don't think the code is necessary for the cafeteria but college is about preparing students for the world they are about to inherit and in this world, presentation and first impressions matter.
