Have you ever tried to change your intrusive thoughts, negative self-talk, or negative beliefs, only to find yourself continuously falling back into the same thoughts, beliefs, and feelings? I'm going to talk to you today about why this happens, why it's not your fault, and what's actually happening in your brain, emotions, and body when you begin a process of profound inner transformation and change. This episode is based on my own personal experience, and I hope it helps you to understand yourself better and why you deserve so much love and compassion. Changing your inner landscape IS hard, and I am going to explain the BIOLOGICAL reasons why this is. This is NOT something you imagine, and it has nothing to do with motivation or will power, and everything to do with our brains and how they process information and flow energy. Changing your thoughts and beliefs takes massive amounts of courage and resilience. Most people do not understand what this process actually entails, and so we will often feel defeated by slow or stalled progress. I'm going to help you to understand why well-intentioned people can make you feel worse, and how to actually bring in self-love and faith in your ability to change.
