Amy founded CreatedHair.com and her private discreet wig studio in Beverly Hills almost 2 decades ago, creating a company for women to turn to for solid, safe, comfortable solutions who are living with the effects of medical hair loss, as well as those who are seeking to renew their appearance, self-esteem, and radiant healthfulness. Visiting clients in their homes or by their hospital bedside has always been Amy’s favorite way of working and a rare experience to find in this business. Conducting her personal consults via zoom and Skype with women all over the world has added to her strong global brand in the marketplace. Amy's story began at 13 1/2 when it was discovered she had Alopecia (an immune disorder resulting in hair loss) while filming her first starring role on the CBS Soap Opera; Love of Life, which earned her an Emmy Nomination. She went on to star in 20 years of shows such as The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, Happy Days, and numerous prime-time TV and film roles before deciding to follow her heart and help women worldwide. She is the author of Sex, Wigs, and Whispers: Love and Life with Hair Loss.
