454. Jesus Prays for all Believers Living Today - December 28, 2023

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 28. I will then key in on verse 20 - A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. Friends, if you are faithful to God your life will succeed. Today we will be continuing where we left off yesterday (if you did not get a chance to listen to yesterday's podcast I invite you to do so). Today we will look at Jesus's prayer to all believers living today - to you and to me. It is found in the 17th chapter of John's gospel - verses 20-26. I will read these verses and go over the commentary found in my Bible (the Nelson Study Bible) for these verses. I will then close with John's instructions to us today found in 1 John, Chapter 4, verses 17-21. These verses tell us that we are to love one another. We are also to become more and more like Jesus Himself. Call to Action - Ask yourself this question - Are you living your life as though you love God and love people?
