Brady takes on being the course director for Run Echuca Moama   Rose Davies on the opening night of the athletics programme in Glasgow became the 10000m Commonwealth Champion in 31:39.32, with Lauren Ryan placing fifth. Ky Robinson was also crowned 10000m Commonwealth Champion winning in 27:49.93. Rose Davies backed up for the double to then become the 5000m Commonwealth Champion in 14:44.53 with Jess Hull taking the silver medal, Linden Hall seventh in her fourth Commonwealth Games. Ky Robinson followed on to win the silver in the 5000m in 13:24.70 behind Matthew Kipsang of Kenya with Jackson Sharp in ninth and Seth O’Donnell sixteenth Cara Feain-Ryan placed fourth in the 3000m Steeplechase, with Faith Cherotich of Kenya winning in 9:01.76. Sarah Billings takes home the Bronze medal in the 800m running 2:00.61 behind winner Georgia Hunter-Bell in 1:59.51, with Lillian Odira just pipping Billings in 2:00.58. Luke Boyes takes the silver in the Men’s 800m behind Navasky Anderson of Jamaica, Peyton Craig sixth and Peter Bol seventh Abbey Caldwell won the mile in 4:39.31, leading an Australian podium sweep with Jess Hull and Claudia Hollingsworth. Cam Myers salvaged a silver medal in 3:55.26 with Josh Kerr carrying the momentum to win in front of a home crowd, with defending champion Oli Hoare in fifth and Adam Spencer in eighth. Results   Brett Robinson won the Sunshine Coast Marathon in 2:15:45 in rainy, steamy conditions ahead of Taketoshi Oe of Japan and Jamie Lacey. Beth Mackenzie of the US won in 2:37:26 ahead of Nikki Curry and Sarah Short. Izzy Batt-Doyle took another half marathon win in 1:08:49, ahead of Georgia Grgec and Rebecca Lowe, while Ryan Gregson returned to the event to win in 1:04:01 ahead of Jordan Skelly and Kye Lowth. Callum Davies won the 10km in 29:30, while Gabrielle Schmidt won in 33:26. Results    Jude Thomas posted 3:34.72 in the 1500m at the IFAM Oordgem at Belgium, while in the 5000m Georgia Griffith won the B race in 14:44.64 while Maudie Skyring was fourth in 14:49.47.
