46. Input = Output

If you put dough into a pasta maker, you get noodles on the other side. Plant a tomato seed, and you can expect to harvest tomatoes. When parents apply the principle of "input = output" to their kids, like thinking that if we teach our kids to be honest and then expect them to always be honest, disappointment is never far behind.
