At the young age of 16 he joined the British Army where he completed a 22 Year distinguished career, seeing service all over the Globe including Operational Service in Northern Ireland, Eastern Europe, Africa, The Middle East, Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring in December 2013. He moved to Newfoundland in 2013 and fell in love with the land and the people.He has been coaching and mentoring in one form or another for over 25 years. Whether it be training troops to deal with the physical and mental demands of Operations, or encouraging a positive environment for soldiers and families in a peacetime but often stressful surrounding.
