47: The Rocketeer
from Disney Plus Reviews Hosted by StudioDNA | Phil Sousa & Jack Altermatt
It's your unofficial Disney+ podcast, reviewing the most popular stuff on Disney+! Today on the show, we’re reviewing 1991’s “The Rocketeer”, starring Bill Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin, Timothy Dalton, Paul Sorvino, and Tiny Ron Taylor. But before we do, we have a discussion on the news of the week - Soul is coming straight to Disney+ on Christmas Day this year, not coming to theaters at all! Then, it’s into The Rocketeer discussion and it’s full spoilers (though this is really not one you need to watch) and we cover all the highlights: Howard Hughes and the “rocket” (come on, it’s a jetpack, people), Neville is really … a Nazi?, the giant “muscle” that attacks them from time to time, the CGI, action scenes (what few there are), etc. Have I given you a hint on how this movie landed with us? Write the show at [email protected] - we LOVE hearing from our listeners! Thanks for listening! Be sure to subscribe so that you can automatically get future episodes.
