48: D3: The Mighty Ducks
from Disney Plus Reviews Hosted by StudioDNA | Phil Sousa & Jack Altermatt
It's your unofficial Disney+ podcast, reviewing the most popular stuff on Disney+! Today on the show, we’re reviewing 1996’s “D3: The Mighty Ducks”, starring Joshua Jackson, Jeffrey Nordling, Joss Ackland, and the entire “Ducks” cast! But before we do, we have a discussion on the news of the week - Disney+ has a disclaimer on some of their movies now, specifically the ones that contain dated references and characterization that is considered to be racist commentary today. Then, it’s into D3 discussion and it’s full spoilers from that point on (watch the movie before listening or just jump in with us!) and we cover all the highlights: the downhill rollerblading fiasco, Coach Orion’s temper as well as his humanity, Goldberg is out and Julie is in, the prank wars, the surprise death of a major character, Charlie's transformation into a true leader, the team almost getting the boot from the school board, and more! Write the show at [email protected] - we LOVE hearing from our listeners! Thanks for listening! Be sure to subscribe so that you can automatically get future episodes.
