48 North Carolina 10 Year Anniversary Trip

Show Notes:Nancy and I just recently returned home from our 10th anniversary trip to North Carolina. We fished at some great places and had an amazing time visiting with friends and exploring a place we had not been to yet. We stayed in Maggie Valley near Asheville and had a wonderful time fly fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, some local waters, and the Cherokee Nation. We both caught our first Southern Appalachian brook trout. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend going out and fishing around Asheville! The guys at the Rivers Edge Outfitters shop got us all set up to fish around Cherokee. https://www.wncfishing.com/ The team at Tuckaseegee Fly Shop (Tuck Fly Shop) were also outstanding and gave Nancy and I all the info we needed.
