496 Buried and Raised with Christ (Rom 6:1–11, Col 2:12)

Monday, April 28th: Episode 1 of the new series In Christ, Christ in You, and the Exchanged Life kicks off with a foundational truth: you’ve been buried and raised with Christ. In Romans 6, Paul tells us that when we placed our faith in Jesus, we weren’t just given a new belief system—we were united with Jesus in His death and resurrection. That means the “old you”—the one ruled by sin, shame, fear, and performance—is dead and buried. And in its place stands someone new.But many of us don’t feel new. We still struggle with sin, guilt, and old patterns. That’s why Paul tells us to “reckon” ourselves dead to sin but alive to God. We’re called to live from what’s already true, not what we feel. In this episode, we unpack how to let go of the old self, trust what God says is true, and walk in newness of life.
