All passengers have been evacuated from the MV Hondius, aka the "hantavirus cruise." The 18 American passengers have been quarantined -- 16 at the Unviersity of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, 2 at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta. They will be quarantined until such time as doctors determin that the incubation window has passed and, if asymptomatic, they may then be sent home. So far one patient in Nebraska has tested positive. Doctors say they're taking precautions despite the low frequency of actual human-to-human transmission, and that this will not become "the next Covid."
