5. Milliseconds in Decision Making

from Self-Help 101 with Viviana Pazos Hosted by Viviana Pazos

The science of decision-making!! When evaluating food decisions, scientists found that people's processing of the stimuli was 0.195 milliseconds faster for the basic attributes (such as taste) than for abstract attributes (such as food health). This can be applied to other areas of human decision-making as well, and realizing our own tantalizing impediments on individuality and that we are all human can make for interesting revelations in applications of psychology.
