50. Black Friday

It’s my 50th episode (!!) and to celebrate, I picked a movie about one of my all-time favorite pastimes: SHOPPING. This week we’re going back to the 90s and early 2000s—aka the golden era of doorbusters and chaos—with Black Friday! You know, when stores opened at 2 a.m., folks camped out for a toaster, and you could roll up in your jam-jams to score “The Lowest Price of the Season.”Anyway, in this movie the customers at “We Love Toys” lose their ever-loving minds while the store employees try to figure out wtf is happening, dodge corporate BS, and, oh yeah—not die.I’m counting this as my #blackweek pick for the month because yes, there are some Black folks, they’re just… not the stars.
