from Confidence After Narcissistic Abuse | Covert Narcissist, Discernment, Boundaries, Healing, Self Worth · host Tekyia Nisheka | Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coach, Self-Trust Restoration Coach’

Have you ever had a sense of what you were supposed to do — a nudge, a knowing — and just kept pushing it down because you did not trust it? Do you have something sitting inside you that you have been too afraid to step into because someone else's voice convinced you it was pointless? Learning to trust yourself again after covert narcissistic abuse does not always feel dramatic. Sometimes it looks like finally doing the thing you sat on for over a year because someone told you it was pointless. In this episode I share my story of writing and publishing my first book — the inner knowing that was always there, being mocked and discouraged, sitting on it for over a year while that person's voice played on repeat in my head, and the moment I started evaluating those thoughts and realised they were not actually mine. This is what reclaiming your self-worth and discernment looks like in real life. Not a big breakthrough moment — just one step, one act of trusting yourself, and watching what God does with it.
