Today we are in Luke chapter 9 for Day 9 of our 52 Day Luke/Acts Challenge.In this chapter, Jesus sends out the twelve apostles, feeds the five thousand, hears Peter confess that He is the Christ of God, reveals His glory on the mountain, and teaches about the cost of discipleship.Luke 9 shows us both the power and the purpose of Jesus. He is not just a miracle worker. He is the Christ, the Son of God, who came to suffer, die, and be raised.Jesus also gives a clear call to anyone who wants to follow Him: deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Him.Thanks for joining us as we continue through Luke and Acts together.
