528. Gospel of Luke - Chapter 2 (#3)- Jesus stays in the Temple while His parents leave. - April 10, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then key in on verse 1 & 5 - A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame. Friends, if you instruct your children while they are young, they will learn how you do things, they will learn the way you treat and talk with people, and will acquire wisdom by learning from you. If you do not instruct your children as they grow up they will not learn how you do things, they will not learn how you talk to people and treat them, and they may very well causing you shame. By the end of today' lesson, I ask that you consider three things; 1. Jesus's family goes to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover. 2. Jesus stayed in the temple when his family left Jerusalem. 3. Jesus was submissive to his parents and obeyed them. Call to Action - Meditate on what it must have been like for Jesus' s parents when they couldn't find Jesus, and it took them three days to find him!
