53: Beyond DEI, the power of NeuroDiversity in the workplacce

from NeuroConversant Leadership · host Jeremy Doran

Equity and inclusion (DEI) is an important topic in the workplace, but it is often controversial. There is a lot of pushback on making it a requirement, but there should be no question that embracing diverse points of view is critical in business success.. Diversity in companies, particularly having women on the board of directors, has been shown to lead to higher returns on equity, net income growth, and lower debt levels. Diverse teams are more effective in problem-solving and generating innovative ideas because they challenge each other and bring different perspectives. Neurodiversity, or thinking differently than the norm, is an important aspect of diversity that is often overlooked. Embracing diversity in all its forms, including neurodiversity, can lead to greater productivity and profits in companies.
