539. John's Gospel - Chapter 6 - The Holy Spirit will Guide You Into All Truth - April 25, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 25. I will then key in on verse 21 - If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. Friends, if we are to become like Jesus (and that should be our goal every day - to become more and more like Him) we need to do what He did. If He was still on Earth, and someone was hungry, He would give them food to eat, and if they were thirsty, He would give them water to drink. If that's what He would do, that is what we should do as well. On today's podcast we are continuing where we left off on yesterday's podcast. Yesterday, after completing the 4th chapter of the Gospel according to Luke, we went to the 16th chapter of John. The disciples were sorrowful when Jesus told them that He would soon be leaving them. He told them that He would send the comforter (the Holy Spirit) to them. On today's podcast I will go over the benefits of this - and these benefits are what helps us today. By the end of today's lesson I ask that you consider these three points: 1. The Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin 2. The Holy Spirit will guid you into all truth. 3.
