#54 - Arita Baaijens - Paradijs in de Polder

"Zet mij op een kameel en ik snap het weer." Ontdekkingsreiziger, bioloog en schrijver Arita Baaijens trok twintig jaar door de woestijn met haar kameel en verkende landschappen in de Sahara, Siberië en Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea. De natuur is haar thuis. Het viel haar op dat herders en nomaden op een intieme manier met de natuur omgaan. Een manier wat ze miste in haar eigen leefomgeving. Om toch contact te maken met het Nederlandse landschap bedacht Baaijens tientallen oefeningen en schreef ze het boek: Paradijs in de Polder. Lezen in het Donker met presentatrice Mirthe van der Drift en schrijfster Arita Baaijens.
