Celebrating 35 years of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. After the major box office success of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, the next film was inevitable. Directed by William Shatner, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier came out in June of 1989, during the first major summer blockbuster season, and is generally regarded as one of the worst films in the overall Star Trek film series for a variety of reasons. In this episode, Part III of Twin Cities Trekkies Star Trek Film Extravaganza, host Wes Huntington is joined by fellow Star Trek fan Greg (known as Captain Kirk and Cocktails on Instagram) to discuss the film, certain aspects of it, and their Star Trek stories.
