Award-winning film & television producer Wendy Russell is best known as the host & creator of HGTV’s She’s Crafty. As a real estate investor in both Canada and the USA, she’s been immersed in real estate and renovations her entire life. Her step-father was a contractor and master carpenter with whom she helped build their home when she was a teenager. So yeah, zero fear of power tools. In addition to her REI business, she’s an on-camera confidence coach for real estate professionals so that they can attract their perfect clients or JV partners, do more deals & truly live the life they dream of. Schooled in interior decorating, home staging, professional organizing, film and television production (in front and behind the camera) Wendy spent four years as the Décor Producer & DIY Expert on CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show. She was also the Home & Design Producer on CBC’s The Goods. The Gemini-nominated TV host is currently a Guest Expert on CityTV’s Cityline and an Event Speaker for Keyspire. As Head of Acquisitions & Project Management for her company Love Your Work Properties, Wendy has just completed the renovations on two income properties in Ontario and is about to start a new build in Prince Edward County. Her background in film & television producing was the perfect training ground for her role as her company’s general contractor, property manager and short-term rental host.
