#57: Andy Barron-track athlete/coach/fan/official

from The Gill Athletics Track and Field Connections Podcast · host Gill Athletics

So thankful Andy joined us on the podcast. His story is one of humility, hard work, and leaning in. Starting out his first day of practice in dead last, yet sticking to it on a daily basis he went on to become an all conference college athlete as well as a college track coach. You'll hear more indepth on his journey through the community college track/cc system then on to four year school. Andy coached for a number of years, several as the head coach of Framingham State University, before becoming a track official. We talk awhile about his experiences as an official and we even get into how coaches can improve officiating and how officials can help improve coaching. ENJOY!
