The menstrual period is a recurring event in women where an unfertilised egg is expelled from the body due to the contraction of the womb, and the body begins preparations for it to occur again. Allah knows the exact measure of the shrinking and swelling of the walls of the womb during this period, which can only be identified through medical examination.
