Yet the Quran, in chapter 51, verse 47, uses the Arabic word Musi'oon — meaning "We are its Expander" — in a form indicating present, ongoing, continuous action. Not past tense. Not future. Now. This episode examines the linguistic precision of a claim made 1,400 years before any instrument could measure cosmic expansion.

In 1929, Edwin Hubble discovered the universe is expanding — which means, traced backwards, it had a definite beginning.
