59. Getting Job Clarity Using Energy and Identity Work

This episode is a little different from past episodes I've recorded.I coached a client through a common issue: should I go for the new job, or stay in the one I have? I had so many nuggets for her that I decided to summarize them into a podcast.She came to me looking for job clarity. She had a long of logical reasons why the new job would be a better fit; and yet, she was still confused.I did something different than a typical career conversation.Instead of talking about her 5 year plan, or what might be better for her resume, I had her close her eyes and imagine herself as who she was becoming. With that as her guide, I tapped her into the energy of each job option.
