A CEO title does not define a strong leader nor does an Ivy League education define an intelligent person. There's more to it.My new favorite question to ask at the beginning of each podcast episode is this "What's something that's not on your resume or bio that makes you really proud and why?" This was inspired by Dr. Troy Hall who is a friend, mentor, and brother to me. Asking this question gets someone to reveal who they truly are at the heart regardless of what title or status they have in this world.You'll never see my greatest accomplishment as a title or line item in my resume or bio because it's the continuous impact that's generated in the lives of others. There's a reason why there are no walls in my home filled with my awards; that's not what drives me.
