Dr. Andrea Joy Smith has been practicing dentistry for over 22 years. She completed her dental training at the University of California San Francisco in 1994. After practicing for about 6 years in Oakland California, she relocated her practice to Sacramento CA in 2001. Dr. Smith has been placing mini dental implants since 2007. She is a Diplomat in the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. And is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). She has published articles in the Journal of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. Smith believes that the minimally invasive mini dental implants has many applications. She has used them to stabilize loose dentures, replace single or multiple teeth, and fixed or removable full arch restoration. Dr. Smith will soon be publishing a book for dental patients.
