5B INTERVIEW: LARA TOSELLI

Joining us now is Lara Toselli, a South African writer, performer, director and producer whose career began remarkably early , as a nine-year-old presenter on SABC 1's YoTV. Since then, she's worked across television, film and theatre, and has created award-winning work of her own. Her latest project is particularly personal. Mother Load is a one-woman show written and performed by Lara and directed by Tinarie van Wyk Loots. It explores motherhood, identity, grief and the often overlooked process of becoming a mother while finding plenty of dark comedy in the chaos.
