《地藏經》主要是給我們講，入佛門最初的修學方法就是「孝親尊師」。佛陀教育是師道，師道建立在孝道的基礎上。 不孝父母如何會 尊重師長?不尊重師長，不肯聽老師的話，老師再有學問、再有能力， 也沒有辦法傳授給他。所以，尊師重道才能成就學業。《地藏菩薩本願 經》是佛門的孝經。孝道就是大圓滿的大根大本，一切圓滿從這裡開 始。
