60 | How to Teach Your Kids About Healthy Food
from Daily Wellness Podcast · host Melisha Meredith
I share four ways you can teach your kids about healthy food in this episode. I love it when parents ask me about that, because it means that they are not just interested in feeding their kids healthy food but in teaching them the WHY behind it! And if we can teach our kids about what foods are healthy, how to shop for them and the benefits of them, they are much more likely to continue eating healthy food when they leave our home. The four ideas I share have to do with: Helping them understand the foods that God made and the foods that man made. Connecting your kids to where their food comes from. Taking them to the store with you and teaching them specific things there. Teaching them about the benefits of healthy food. Some strategies are more applicable to kids at certain ages, and I talk through that as well.
