601. Gospel of Luke - Chapter 11 (#4) - A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand - July 22, 2024

from Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley · host Bill Kelley

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 22. I will then key in on verse 19 -So that your trust may be in the Lord, I have instructed you today, even you. Friends, President Abraham Lincoln trusted in the Lord. Today we will discuss his "A House Divided Against Itself" speech. Continuing in the Gospel according to Luke, Chapter 11, by the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. A House divided against itself cannot stand. 2. Jesus cast out demons with the finger of God. 3. He who is not with me is against me. Call to Action - How often do you open the Scriptures (the Word of God)? Some of you may not know where to begin. Whether you read Psalms, the Book of Proverbs, any of the four gospels (I recommend you begin in John) - if you are not used to reading the Bible, may I suggest that, before opening the Bible, that you pray to God and ask Him to give you revelation - so that, as you read the Bible, you will get a firm understanding of it.
