Kirk graduated dental school in 1997 and began working in private practice. Gaining experience in practices from solo operator, to large group practice. In 2005 he earned a certificate of orofacial pain from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and began tailoring his general dental practice to facial pain and sleep. From 2011 to 2015, Kirk served as assistant professor at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Dentistry including one year as interim director of Dental Anatomy and Occlusion. In 2014, Kirk decided to pursue business education and attended Royal Roads University for his certificate of executive coaching. He now divides his time between private dental practice and his executive coaching career. Kirk is a husband and father of a 5 year old daughter. He spends his spare time playing drums in a garage band, and with various artistic pursuits (painting, sketching, and "making"). www.drkirkblanchard.com
