611. Gospel of Luke - Chapter 12 (#1) - The Very Hairs of Your Head are all Numbered - August 5, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 5. I will then key in on verse 12 - And say: "How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised correction!" Friends, the Pharisees, the scribes, the Sadduces, and the lawyers all had opportunities to listen to the teachings of Jesus (and yet none of them took the time to do it). On today's lesson we will continue our study of the Gospel according to Luke. Today we will begin Chapter 12 and go over the first seven verses. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider: 1. Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees (which was hypocrisy). 2. Fear Him who has power to cast into hell - Friends, keep in mind that God has given every individual a free will - and He will never override that fact. If you end up in hell - it will be because you chose not to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior - not that God sent you there. 3. The very hairs of your head are all numbered.
