#62 Career Pivot, Author, CEO, Marc Miller Interview

from The Not Old - Better Show · host Paul Vogelzang

Career Pivot, Author, CEO, Marc Miller Interview Founder, leader, CEO, author of CareerPivot, Marc Miller's career has spanned 30+ years at IBM, thriving tech startups, a stint as a high school math teacher, a gig raising funds for the Jewish Community Center and, a near fatal bicycle accident that changed his perspective forever.  Throughout Marc's wandering the proverbial career desert, often repeating the same mistakes over and over, Marc learned his most crucial lesson: Most people don't really know what makes them happy at their core, what fulfills them. They pursue money, status, a skill set, all of which provide some level of satisfaction, but not contentment. People wind up feeling frustrated and trapped. Others have figured out what they need, but don't know how to chart a course to get there.  Marc founded CareerPivot.com to help the baby boomer generation create successful and fulfilling professional lives.  Marc's books, his workshops, his speaking, resources, podcasts, and Marc's stated strategy is to work with those of us "in the 2d half of life," who want to change.  Join us as Marc Miller answers some excellent year end questions:  Does the idea of career change overwhelm you? Do you feel trapped in your career? Do you fear it's too late to make change? Welcome to the show, Marc Miller. Talk About Better™ The Not Old Better Show on Radio & Podcast! Hosted by Ausha.
