620. Endurance Noise Daily | NCAA Cuts, Hour Record Attempts, and 6 Decades of Sub 3 Marathons!

from Endurance Noise & Random Musings · host AND3RSON

William & Mary is at least the 24th Division I school to cut a program (or more) since the COVID-19 outbreak in March.  Four amazing runners have broken 3 hours in the marathon during every decade since the 70s (that's 6 decades!). Jim Miller is the latest, having to create his own marathon to do it. Here's how they keep going, fast.   Not often you get the mile and marathon WR holders on the same track. But tomorrow, the two best female distance runners of 2019 -- Sifan Hassan and Brigid Kosgei -- will attempt to break the world record for the one-hour run in Brussels.   https://andynoise.com/2020/09/03/03-september-2020/ Endurance Noise & Random Musings Please Subscribe to my YouTube Channel!
